One day, while browsing the message board of thefanlistings.org I noticed that the unconventional relationships of Harry Potter was up for adoption. This was the first fanlisting I ever applied for and I was glad to see that it was available again. This fanlisting has been adopted from Anna of fanizzle.org.
What do you think when you come across somebody talking about an unconventional relationship in relation to the Harry Potter series? Anything and everything unconventional is of interest to me. Whether it be slash or femslash or incest or even good old het. Harry Potter provides multiple characters that you can pair off in tons of different ways. You can have Snape snogging Draco or Tonks shagging Ginny. Whatever you want. This is what makes fanfiction, fanart and discussion of unconventional pairings so fun. Simply the possibility. Hermione is married to Ron and bossing him around but I find a gleeful part of myself wondering what is going on off the page. Is Hermione seeing Ginny on the side or she down in the dungeons with Snape? Is Ginny hating Pansy Parkinson or snogging her?
